I've owned several mats over the years, always getting the typical rectangular shape, unfortunately they all suffered from the same problem, me. I always seem to roll of the end of the mat, or the shape interfears with the placement of computer components under the desk. The light bulb shape of this mat places most of the mat under the chair where it should be and after several months I haven't rolled off it once ! Its not as thick as come mats which I have owned over the years, but it appears to be holding up well so far. It arrives rolled and getting it to lie flat was quite an excersize, luckily no one was around to document my antics. Once I finally managed to get it flattened out it stayed that way. Of the various mats I have owned, this is my favorite. I am using this mat in a room covered with a shallow carpet, similar to sisal.I like the size and shape, it really works for my L shaped desk. Getting it to lay flat wasn't a problem and the edges stay flush with my carpet. It is thin, but that's not an issue yet. The only problem I do have is that it moves. Once every 2 weeks I need to pull it back into place.I use my desk daily for many hours so we will see how it holds up.Isn't perfect for my 90 degree desk but much better than all the other mats I could find. Thick material so it should hold up longer than my previous mats. But it's not cheap....Looked all over for a chair mat for our corner desk in our office. None of the brick and mortar office stores in our area carried anything other than the standard rectangle that would not work. We had a tear drop shape one, but over time it had cracked and was starting to fall apart. This one is larger than our old one and seems to be made of good material. I hope that we do not need to make a warranty claim down the road, but only time will tell.This fits perfectly with our workstation. The bottom secured to the carpet and the top is easy to keep clean.Dimples should have been installed on the bottom of the mat during the manufacturing process from the mat moving every time you move your chair...nice shape and perfect for my work station but constantly have to move it back in position at least three times a day...annoying! If you have a tight pile carpet, this mat is probably not for you.Fits nicely under my chair at my corner desk. It came all rolled up, and it definitely needs to come to room temperature before it will lay flat, but once it does, it fits snuggly to the rug. I have not noticed any movement of the pad. Seems well made.I really like this shape and works great for my corner desk. However, it is now cracked over 90% of the mat.
