This chair is well built, easy to assemble and aesthetically pleasing. I'm sure anyone that it taller than 5'5" would be entirely satisfied with this chair to use with their sitting or standing height desk. As a person is it 5'4" at best with longer legs for my frame, my feet do not touch the floor when the chair is at its lowest height. When I have it adjusted to the highest height (when my desk is at standing height, but I still feel like sitting without moving everything) the chair is fine, but my feet don't reach the built-in foot bar well either. Overall it has not fixed my typically issue of losing circulation in my legs because my legs are dangling. Why are there no chairs for petite framed people?I had purchased one of these chairs off the FB marketplace for my wife 3 or 4 years ago. My cheap free chair was finally ready to retire so I looked up the brand and model and discovered this was it and they're still making them. I really like the higher height of a drafting chair for my adjustable desk and this fits the bill. The padding is just right and I know it's durable since my wife has had hers for a few years now without issue. Assembly was pretty straight forward and simple and didn't take much more than 15 min.I had to re-drill 2 of the holes to mount the back to the seat. The holes on one side were both just off enough that I couldn’t get it to go together. I took a little material off with my Rotozip and then it went together like it was supposed to.A decent chair. Not as comfy as a typical gaming chair, but decent. I can sit down and do work for hours before feeling the need to stand up.A bit high for regular desk. Other than that is pretty good quality,Assembly took about 30 min for me alone (instructions recommend 2 adults but that seems unnecessary), but see the pics to help it go faster…the instructions mislabel the arm rest sides on page 1, so if you’re not paying attention, you might get confused. Also, 2 hardware parts (the caps for the screws) didn’t look like the pictures, but they still fit in the holes. One of the screw holes on the bottom of the seat was poorly threaded, but I was able to force it in with some WD40. It’s easier for steps 6 and 7 to look at the instructions upside down to orient yourself (see pics). The base is heavy and glides easily.Once assembled, the left side arm rest is a teeny bit taller than the right so it doesn’t tuck the same under the edge of my counter height desk space (but maybe I have a crooked floor). So the errors in the assembly instructions and the one bad screw hole knocked off a star. The chair itself is comfortable, with good padding on the synthetic fabric seat (could be softer fabric), and the blue color is as vibrant as I hoped. I like that the armrests flip up as well (solves the uneven tucking problem). The hydraulics are smooth, and I did not find that the foot ring was too small to rest my bare foot heels on.After much research for a drafting chair (I have a tall desk that is counter height so I needed a desk chair that sits 26” from the floor to the seat and regular office chairs do NOT go that high), this new office chair is PERFECT.It was super easy to put together. The seat is super hard, with poor cheap padding, I'm probably going to have to spend another $70 on a good gel seat cushion. And the foot bar/ring doesn't stay up, it just settles down to the base every time, no matter how clean and dry and tight it is set, it always slides down.Went together ok. Sturdy, so far.I like it for drafting and drawing. Love it for guitar playing.Only complaint, zero lumbar support.Easy height adjustment from desk height (or maybe just a bit lower) to bar/counter height (or maybe just a bit higher). Shock seems strong to support raising and lowering, and no sinking over time. Arms flip up out of the way until you need them. Good back support. Good support for the feet with the height-adjustable ring at the bottom. No creaking or wobbles. Not hot to sit on for several hours. The back support in the lumbar/lower back area is perfect for me but it feels like it forces you slightly forward on the seat. So it would be extra perfect if the seat was just a bit deeper to give a bit more support to the upper thighs. Definitely not a deal breaker though but maybe take off 1/2 star. It’s a comfortable well-built chair for the $$.Prositive Side:Its a fantastic chair which is comfortable, aesthetic and of great quality. The quality is so great in fact, that you wouldn't believe it only costs around 110€ because the fabric feels extremely high quality and sturdy.Negative Side:When using the chair, it is practically impossible to put your feet on the ground, they have to be sitting on the bar to be comfortable, the chair is simply too high on its lowest setting. It can't be used as an office chair because it is too high. That is unless you have a height adjustable desk (which I have, which is the reason why I still gave the chair 5 stars)Seems solidly built. Almost overbuilt. Very pleased with the structural design. Note: I have only used this chair for 10 minutes at this point. The instructions could have been more clear by referencing numbers on the pouches rather than giving them a letter and a table to associate the pouch IDs and the letter. (-.5 star) Very clear instructions otherwise, though I suggest affixing the arms to the back before fully tightening the arms to the base. The armrests are not adjustable and are too low for me (average height male). (-1 point). An alternate mount point for the arms would have helped if adjustable was not an option. The upholstery feels cheap, but is breathable and may last. We will see.Not quite a 4/5 star, sorry, though it is comfortable and does its job well.Love this chair! I have long legs and it's been such a problem finding a desk chair that I can feel comfortable in. This would get a 5 star rating if the arm rests were adjustable as well -- they sit about an inch or two too high for me -- at least they go up and out of the way if I start getting a sore shoulder from using the mouse.I have used ths chair daily for the last 2 years. The lumbar support is now broken because the threads that hold the back frame to under the seat appear to have become separated from the seat base.It is no longer safe to use.
