I’m a tall, large, athletic woman and I was looking for a nice looking chair to use at my home office desk that supported a higher weight and had space for my hips. I REALLY wanted to love this chair and it’s very pretty, but I’m going to have to return it for a few reasons. The back edges are too narrow for my hips; the chair tilts forward (not back) - who wants to tilt forward??, and it’s very low to the ground even at the highest setting. I feel like I’m sliding off the front of it and it’s so uncomfortable I had to switch to a regular wooden table chair with zero padding which was somehow more comfortable to work rest of the day as I ordered a different chair… Its a cute chair but if you need any support it’s NOT good enough as an office chair.I purchased 2 of these adjustable swivel chairs to be used for a craft table. My family and I appreciate these chairs! They are comfortable, elegant, and match our home’s decor. The chairs do recline a little, but they do not lock in place. We changed out the wheels for wheels that do not scratch the floor and are quieter. I recommend this chair!UPDATE: I reached out to the seller and they resolved my issue beyond my expectations! For that reason, I am raising my rating to 5 stars. Customer service is top notch!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love the look of this chair, but I haven't had it that long and already height adjustment is failing. The chair will sometimes lower itself as I'm sitting in it. And no, while I'm not as thin as I used to be, I'm no where near the max weight for the chair. I'm really disappointed that this chair is not holding up. But maybe it's a blessing in disguise because you need a lumbar pillow for some lower back support anyway.In order to assemble this chair, you need to attach the seat onto the base using bolts which screw into metal threaded "holes" on the bottom of the wooden seat base. 2 of the 4 bolts did not fit or allign properly into the metal threaded holes and as I tried to tighten them, the metal threads ripped loose from the wooden seat bottom. So you can't tighten the bolts anymore and the seat is completely wobbly. I am going to have to return (which will be a pain since it's a very large product box) if I can even get it disassembled at this point. I thought I'd be getting a better quality product for nearly $300.Sturdy and pretty. I sit on it every day and it's comfy. I have not sat on it for long periods of time so I can't tell you how supportive it is for that type of situation. But for daily light use it's great. So pretty! Love it.This chair is gorgeous. I got the light green one and it is prettier than pictured. Not the most comfortable chair I’ve had for long periods of sitting time. (I work 8 hours in it). But, it does the job.I ordered this beautiful chair as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The chair was gorgeous, but the wooden base had a small crack on one leg. I reached out to the company and sent pictures and they immediately responded and sent me an entirely new chair within days. What wonderful customer service and a beautiful, comfortable and classy chair.
