We’ve had this for about 2 years now. The instructions aren’t the best, not very sturdy, and things have broken on it. Although we loved the item just hated that it’s broke. Down so fast.My little one loves it. Ready for homeschooling. Setup was self-explanatory except for some details that we had to figure out on our own. One of the screws for the chair was filled so we couldn’t use it even though we tried to insert it we had to remove it. Also just like other reviews mentioned, it arrived with rust stains on it but could be somewhat cleaned up. For this and the screw I took away one star.I wasnt sure how well this would fit my 11 year old who's 65 lbs. Works so well! He absolutely loves it! Uses it for art and school. Very well built and easily adjusts. I was even able to sit at it comfortably. Very happyTried contacting the company to get parts sent out but never heard from them. Besides the parts that were missing its really sturdy and my daughter loves it!Overall, we like the product. The adjustable chair design isn’t great. If you try to pick the chair up it pulls it all the way up and then falls back down. It seems to stay in place if you aren’t lifting it up. The book holder is a little flimsy. We try to use it for daughters IPad and it falls over constantly. Love the concept. Just wish it was a little more sturdier.My daughter loves it!! The rubber around the edges should be more resistant to scratches, and, bumps! It scratches easily!I do recommend using the cardboard box, or a blanket, to use while assembling!!I opened the box and there was a stray screw and piece in the box. I wondered where it was from, and I soon got my answer. One of the pieces from the seat had broken off. I'm not sure how it will impact assembly or functionality, but I will edit my post once I finish assembling the desk.As far as anesthetics, there appears to be spots on the metal pieces that were exposed to moisture so it has rust on it.Will edit after assembly.My son loves his desk! No complaints so far.
