The chair arrived quicker than expected which was quite satisfying to start with. The packaging was great! The top and bottom cushions were wrapped individually to avoid exposure to dust and dirt. Each of the stainless steel pieces were wrapped individually to avoid scratches and all pieces required for construction are conveniently packaged together. The chair wasn't too difficult to put together and took me about 45 minutes on my own after struggling with the position of the arms for a bit. After putting it together and wiping it down it looked great. Just the right amount of recline, the wheels roll just as easily on carpet as they do on hardwood. The chair is comfortable for me as I am a decent sized guy around 210 lbs. It feels sturdy and was very supportive while I managed to sit in it for 4 hours the following day while doing reports. I would definitely recommend it as of now. I will check in after 6 months to see if it is still in good condition.This is a pretty comfy chair, and has plenty of support. It feels really sturdy to this particular large-bodied individual, but it considerably taller than other chairs I've used. It takes some getting used to, but it's good if you like to swing your legs while you work - lol. Huge cushions and a tall back make it easy to lean back in, but again, leg-swinging time. It'll take some time to break in the cushions, and the construction while putting it together feels very solid and balanced. No tippiness or wobbliness in it when put together. I have concerns about the baseplate on the seat, but only because that's where a lot of the stress is going to be centered.Easy to put together, great instructions. All the tools needed and and they even have extra hardware in case of loss.I put this chair together by myself yesterday (with my 4 y.o. constantly trying to help) in about 15-20 minutes. The hardest part was balancing the back and seat in the right position to be able to get the screws in but I would still say this is the easiest piece of furniture I have ever assembled. Everything was perfectly aligned and the pieces all seem to be of good quality, with no damage either. I wish the arms could be pulled up to tuck it all the way under the desk, but I knew this was not a feature when I bought it. The same is true of adjustable lumbar support.The only unforeseeable problem with this beautiful chair is that I am shorter in height (5'1") and my feet do not touch the floor unless I am very near the front edge of the seat, which means I cannot rest my back at all. That means either I sit back with my feet dangling off the chair, which will not be good on the knees, or I don't sit striaght back, which will likely wreak havoc on my back. Ergonomically, it is not the best for a short person. I have yet to do a full day's work in it but I am guessing it is not going to be the best fit for me after a few hours. My husband (who is about 5'6" loved it and, sadly, it may be going to his office if it does not work out for me.The seat depth may be a consideration if you are shorter in stature, like me. Otherwise, I would completely recommend this desk chair.I purchased two matching chairs for our office. They were super easy to assemble and all of the holes lined up without a problem. The seat is very comfortable and springy!The issue I am finding is with one chair. It's a very noisy chair with clicking sounds every time I move. The wheels are cheap plastic as well. Also, anytime I lean one way, the chair seems to be loose. (even though I have tightened the bolts 100%).I am 5' 6" and my feet dangle when I sit all the way back into the chair. Not a deal breaker but can get uncomfortable when sitting this way too long.I do love how the chairs recline back and I'm able to lock the position. Overall I am pleased with the chairs with the exception of the one "rickety" chair.The wife bought this for my birthday. It’s a very nice leather (or close to leather), feels great & comfy to sit in. I enjoy the fact that it rocks back, as I tend to put my feet up on my desk. Assembly was easy & took 15-20 minutes for me to put it together; no missing parts or trips to the hardware store to substitute. Much more durable & fabric is nicer than the old office chair purchased at Sam’s. I’m really loving it so far!I bought this chair because I liked the aesthetic and needed a new chair to replace our old cheapie computer chair. I was pleasantly surprised that it's also very comfortable to sit in. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble and came with all tools and screws. I'm pleased with my purchase!Wow I can't believe how comfortable this chair it for the price I paid. I have a $400 chair at work and it's only a bit more comfortable. The reason it did not get 5 stars is it is not very wide. So if you are a wide person your legs will rest against the arm rails all the time and it is slightly on an angle when in the upright position. So if you are expecting a perfectly upright chair this is not. I am neither wide, nor do I mind the slight angle of the upright position.This chair is very comfortable, seems sturdily built (you do have to put it together, about half an hour's time), the legs and arms are heavy duty chrome and very shiny. What's best is the seat cushion which has springs like a mattress or couch, and feels that way too. Good padding on the armrests also. The up and down function works well (to raise the chair's height), but at it's bottom is perfect height for me already. Great chair, happy with purchase.
