I wanted something on the cheaper side for the kids desks as we have bought expensive ones and they just don't last. You get a chair and desk. So value for money is there. BUT putting these together is not easy. The part where the desk top connects, the holes do not line up. See attached picture. For durability, I don't know yet. I'll try to remember to come back in the next few months once school starts.Sturdy and well made, perfect for my homeschool classroom.I bought this desk for my 10 year old daughter because she is virtual schooling. This item was set to arrive Jan 29- Feb 5th, it actually arrived Jan 24, I was surprised to see this at my door so early. The box was busted, it must have happened during transit. When I opened the box, I checked the list of parts and seen that all of the pieces were there. Following the instructions I was able to put the table and chair together in no time. Although, it would have been a little easier if the parts had stickers with letters on them to indicate what's what. But matching the parts with the pictures is what I ended up having to do. Once the desk and chair was put together, my daughter couldn't wait to set it up in her room. This is perfect for homeschool, she says it feels like her desk at school, but she loves it. Thank you so much.I read a tip on the question/answer portion about the side hooks, you must put them on first before putting the top on. It's a good thing I read that because it's not mentioned in the instructions but it does show it in the picture.The desk are somewhat fine. Only a little unsteady/ rocky. But from the photos I shared the chairs are complete trash. The problem it the back part where the screws go is plastic. Once we put them together (we bought 2 desks) one chair broke less than 2 weeks of receiving. I contacted the company they sent out another one. In the meantime the other child’s desk chair broke. This was all less that a month of owning the desk. Their is no need to contact them again because they only want to keep sending the same problem product. So we moved the trash chairs to the basement and bought to new desk chairs from another company. So in short; decent desk horrible chairs, so find another student desk set.Ultimately the product is as described but the assembly was horrible - the screws that came with it didn’t fit (too small for the holes) so we had to go find some bolts to hold the chair together. There was no instruction at all for mounting the hooks on the sides and so I had to take the top back off to get the hooks on. None of the pre-drilled holes on the top were lined up right.Now that it’s done, my son is enjoying his new desk.The side hooks to hang book bags came off too easy and it was a deep scratch in the paint on desktop. Other than that, a good desk for the price.Great little desk but the only thing I don’t like is that the hooks on the side fall out when you put something on them.I love these desks! I got them for my homeschoolers and it really completes the setting! They love them and love doing their school time in them....feels just like school! They were pretty easy to set up...definitely got easier after the first one. They are sturdy, easy to clean and easy to adjust.Had to remove the tray whilst on lowest setting as knee space limited, but I am sure it will useful as grandson grows.
